Studio Policies
This session runs from August of 2025 through June of 2026. There are no classes in December after the Holiday Showcase. Holiday Showcase will take place in December (date and location TBA). Recital will take place in June at Bret Harte High School (dates TBA). By registering, you are committing to the entire session.
Costs:
Registration Fee = 0
Holiday Showcase Fee = $20 per dancer (helps cover costumes, props, venue rental, show photographer, videographer, etc.)
Holiday Showcase Costumes = 0
Holiday Showcase Tickets = $5 per ticket
Recital Fee = Included in your June Tuition payment (helps cover props, programs, show photographer, videographer, venue rental, etc.)
In-Studio Dance Portraits = TBD
Recital Costumes = TBD
Recital Tickets = $10 per ticket
MONTHLY Tuition:
1 Class per Week = $55
2 Classes per Week = $80
3 Classes per Week = $100
4 Classes per Week = $115
5 Classes per Week = $130
{Sibling Discount = $10}
A limited number of tuition scholarships are available upon request.
Monthly tuition payments will be due on the 1st of each month. A late fee will be added to payments received after the 5th. Payments can be made through our website: www.vagaro.com/sageandtansywellness

This will create a recurring payment (auto-charge). The date that you purchase the membership is the date that it will automatically renew each month.
There are no deductions/refunds for missed classes or planned class cancellations.
Class Communication:
Stay in the know! We communicate through paper handouts in class, the Remind App, and our Private Facebook Group. As your child's caretaker, it is your responsibility to be a part of these groups, and to read all announcements, documents, reminders, and news. We want your dancer to be as successful as they can be in class, and you play a big role in that by staying up to date on all studio information. Instructions on how to join below:

There is no waiting area in the studio. Family members may not watch classes inside the studio unless invited in by the instructor. *NOT APPLICABLE TO "FIRST STEPS TO DANCE"
Dress Code:
Creative Movement: Athletic clothes that you can move in. No dresses. No leotard/tights because it makes it difficult for young children to use the bathroom. Shoes: Barefeet or dance shoes. Hair: Pulled back and out of face.
Ballet 1: Black leotard, pink tights. Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. No skirts/tutus. Hair: Neat ponytail or ballet bun.
Ballet 2: Maroon leotard, pink tights. Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. No skirts/tutus. Hair: Neat ponytail or ballet bun.
Ballet 3: Dark green leotard, pink tights. Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. No skirts/tutus. Hair: Neat ponytail or ballet bun.
Pre-Pointe: Leotard, pink tights. Shoes: Pink ballet shoes. No skirts/tutus. Hair: Neat ponytail or ballet bun.
Jazz 1 & 2: Black leotard, black leggings or dance shorts. Shoes: Black jazz shoes. Hair: Pulled back and out of face.
Tap 1 & 2: Black leotard, black leggings or dance shorts. Shoes: Black tap shoes. Hair: Pulled back and out of face.
Hip Hop 1 & 2: Athletic clothes. No dresses. Shoes: Athletic shoes. No bare feet, sandals, or boots. Hair: Pulled back and out of the face.
Contemporary: Black leotard, black leggings or dance shorts. Shoes: Barefeet or socks. Hair: Pulled back and out of the face.
Acro: Form fitting stretchy clothes that allow movement, hair up and out of face, barefeet (no tights)
